This weekend saw most teams finish their ten matches in the Serie A League. Our match against Holmans next week is the only match left in the League so there is still 3 or 1 point to play for but the positions are now decided.
Before this weekend we were second in the League. After today’s matches we are still second in the League, but Hayle now join us in joint second as they have the same points as us in the table but with no games left. Holmans, after losing today to Trevenson, now cannot get enough points in the last match to change their 4th position.
The rules are a little unclear about joint positions, however I do know they are no decided on goal difference. They are possibly decided on the result between the two teams on joint points . If this is the case then our one win and one draw against Hayle would put us in 2nd place. Or the position is left at joint second. But with our last game to play lets just play football and see what happens.
